I was just a small castle but my close friend, Breznica Castle, could talk about me for hours. In the past, I used to sit on a rocky outcrop in all my beauty. An ideal place for regular inspections of the road which lies in the Chválenská Valley.
Historians estimate that I was built sometime in the Middle Ages. During the Turkish threat, I was also involved in guarding and controlling roads leading to the Central Slovak mining area.
How do you get there?
You can reach Falcon Rock Castle after about 200-metre ascent to the southeast of Breznica Castle. It is located above the Chválenská Valley.
